Lindsey Rayner Barnes has a passion for all things writing, editing, and publishing! She is an Author, Freelance Editor, and Blogger.
Lindsey has been a dreamer for as long as she can remember, and has been telling stories just as long. Being a Northern Virginia native, she has always been surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges and meadows to draw from for inspiration for her many stories – most of them taking place in mystical lands reminiscent of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth, C.S. Lewis’s Narnia, or King Arthur’s Camelot.
Having graduated college in 2015 with a major in English and a minor in Communication Studies, Lindsey has only become more dedicated to her writing. Her first professional publication was in Shenandoah Living Magazine’s March/April 2015 issue with my article on Glenhaven Greenhouses. Previously, Lindsey was the Editor-in-Chief for Undiscovered Publishing before they closed. Currently, Lindsey is working on revising and editing her debut book series, The Books of Pendragon.
When she’s not working on her book(s), she is either editing a client’s manuscript; working on her next blog for her and her husband’s travel and food blog, Dreamers on the Go; reading or watching her favorite book/tv series, Outlander; or spending time with her friends and family and planning her next adventure.
Writing and editing are Lindsey’s passions, and as an editor her mission is to help ensure all of her clients’ manuscripts are as polished as possible and ready for publication. Lindsey hopes to help inspire other writers and dreamers to pursue their dreams and never give up!
Keep on dreaming and you can fly to great places!
